FCC Golf Scramble September 7th

Friday September 7

Fairbanks Golf and Country Club “Shotgun Start” immediately after rules meeting at 5:00 p.m.

Format: Teams of 4, Best Ball, 9 holes

As part of our social and mental preparation for the coming curling season, the Fairbanks Curling Club will be hosting a “Best Ball” scramble for curlers, family, and friends at the Fairbanks Country Club on Farmers’ Loop. There will be a brief “rules” meeting at 5:00 and play will commence by 5:30.

There is room for 13 teams or a total of 52 individuals including past, present, and future curlers along with their family members and friends.

We will have hot dogs and refreshments available as part of the entry fee of $25 per individual. Any money left after expenses will go to the Junior Curlers.

Sign up by contacting Larry Meath at 457-2306 or email at lmeath@alaska.net by Sept. 4.

We’ll have a few reminders on the course that curling is not far off. So bring your “A” game and join us for some fun, refreshments, and cheesy prizes as we “Honor” both of these games with their Scottish roots.
