Fall Open House And Curling Experience

OPEN HOUSE – Friday, September 28th, 5pm to 9pm

All are invited to attend the Fairbanks Curling Club 2007 Open House. Doors open at 5pm on Friday, September 28th. Come meet new and old friends, sign up for the new curling season, enjoy some food and drink or try out some curling.

NEW* Mixed Doubles – Teams of 2 (1 male, 1 female) use 6 rocks (1 already in play) to compete in this new game of curling. Come and find out more!

Curling demonstrations/lessons, Club tours, Registration and League sign ups will also be available throughout the evening.

CURLING EXPERIENCE – Sat & Sun, September 29th – 30th

The weekend continues with more curling demonstrations and lessons. This is the time for new and never before curlers to test the ‘frozen waters’. Come to watch or try for yourself. Volunteers will be available throughout the day to instruct and answer your questions. Food and drinks will be provided.

**The Fairbanks Curling Club offers all levels of curling for all ages. From the ‘Little Rockers’ to Junior Curling, from Rookies to Experienced Curlers, there is a spot for you!

***Be cautious of ongoing roadwork occurring on 2nd Avenue. Follow the signs near the Carlson Center to get to the Curling Club parking lot.
