Rookie Spiel
Every year the Fairbanks Curling Club hosts a Rookie Spiel geared towards giving more experience to new curlers by pairing teams of two expereicned curlers with two new curlers. The spiel always happens the weekend after thanksgiving and is a great time. There is always a new theme and costums are encouraged.

In this FREE one hour class, you will learn the basics of curling- how to throw a stone, how to sweep, the rules of the game, and the fun lingo of curling.
Bring clean sneakers, wear flexible pants (i.e. athletic wear), warm layers, Ilight gloves, and a hat. We'll provide all the necessary equipment.
Open to all abilities, ages 6+.
